The Alpha 17 is designed for wildland firefighters. Wolfpack Gear Alpha 17 fireline pack is Cal Fire Spec Approved. Structured with aluminum stays running along the back panel for weight transfer to the padded lumbar belt with an attached fire shelter case to minimize sway.
