The indicator shows the volume of Class A foam concentrate in the tank on nine (9) super bright Red/Green/Blue LEDs. A wide view lens over the LEDs provides for a viewing angle of 180 degrees. The waterproof indicator case is manufactured of Polycarbonate/Nylon material, and has a distinctive green label.
The program features are accessed from the front of the indicator module. The program supports self-diagnostics capabilities, self-calibration, six (6) programmable colored light patterns to display tank volume, adjustable brightness control levels and a datalink to connect remote indicators.
The indicator receives an input signal from an electronic pressure sensor. The sensor is mounted from the outside of the foam tank near the bottom. No probe is be placed on the interior of the tank. Wiring is weather-resistant and has automotive type plug-in connectors.
For use on sealed foam tanks. The vent is designed to relieve tank pressure at +/- 0.01 PSI which is important for proper display function. (Conventional vents relief pressure is +/- 1.0 PSI.) Vents are self-draining. This stops splashing concentrate from entering the valve cavity and clogging the vent.
